Dumortierite - Natural minerals and crystals

Dumortierite is a fibrous mineral, blue in color, but can also appear in shades ranging from dark purple to brown. It is named in honor of the paleontologist Eugène Dumortier. It is mainly found in France, in the Rhône-Alpes region.
