Ammonite - Natural minerals and crystals

Ammonites are fossils of marine cephalopod mollusks. These creatures lived in the oceans during the Mesozoic. Their shells were divided into chambers separated by partitions. The last chamber housed the animal, while the others served to regulate its buoyancy.
