39th Exhibition and sale of Minerals, Fossils, Jewels and Carved Stones


Organized by the Club of Mineralogy and Paleontology of Saint-Sébastien sur Loire, this exhibition - sale of MINERALS, FOSSILS and CUT STONES, with the participation of around thirty exhibitors from all over France and abroad, will be accompanied by an educational exhibition on the theme this year:
“The Color of Minerals”
It will be hosted by Mr. Gilles GUILLET who will present part of his collection of minerals classified by color and by the chemical elements that compose them (in partnership with the Mines and Minerals Museum of the Ferme de l'Orme in Blain) but also panels didactics explaining as simply as possible the phenomena that cause these colors (structure of the crystal, absorption of daylight by the stones, presence of inclusions, etc.).
Entry prices:
- Adults €4.
- Children (under 16) €2.
- Children (under 12) free if accompanied by an adult.
Bar and restaurant on site.
Access: - via the ring road, exit 46 (Porte de Saint Sébastien)
- by bus, line 27 (stop ESCALL).
